Rent Payment:

Rent is due on the 1st of each month.
Pay online easily through the Spruce Creek RE portal at Sprucecreekre.com.

Common requests and fixes:

Smoke Alarms

Issue: Dead batteries, malfunctioning alarm.
Solution: Locate the alarm, remove the cover, and replace the battery. If the issue persists, consider replacing the entire alarm (check local regulations for expiration dates).

Garbage Disposals

Issue: Jammed disposal.
Solution: Unplug the disposal. Use a wooden spoon or pliers to remove any visible obstructions.  Run water through the drain If the issue continues, contact the us through the Buildium page.
 

Clogged Drains

Issue: Slow or blocked drain.
Solution: Use a plunger to clear the clog. For hair clogs, try a drain snake or a commercial drain cleaner (use with caution according to instructions). Prevent future clogs by using drain covers.

Clogged Toilets

Issue: Toilet won't flush or overflows.
Solution: Avoid plunging if the toilet is overflowing. Use a bucket to remove excess water. If the clog persists, try a plunger to unclog the drain. If the issue continues, contact the us through the Buildium page.

AC/Heat Not Working

Issue: Temperature issues.
Solution: Check the thermostat settings. Ensure vents are clear of obstructions. Replace air filters. If the issue continues, contact the us through the Buildium page.

Maintenance Requests:

Having an issue in your apartment or office building that you are unable to fix.? Submit a work order online through the Spruce Creek RE portal or by email.
Be sure to include your name, apartment address, a detailed description of the problem, and the best phone number(s) to reach you for updates.
